NeonSweep
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
NeonSweep is a neon, arcade-flavored take on minesweeper. Play it three ways: Classic for the timeless puzzle across Easy/Medium/Hard, Arcade for endless escalating waves against the clock, or Descent — minesweeper that scrolls, where an endless 3D-perspective minefield rushes toward you and you have to read each row and flag its mines before it slides off the edge.
Combo-multiplier scoring, screen shake, particle bursts, procedural sound, and a glowing CRT look give every reveal some juice. Per-mode high scores keep you chasing your best. Mouse, keyboard, and gamepad all supported.
This project was created because I wanted to learn zig programming language. The source code of the project can be found here: https://codeberg.org/denis4codeberg/neonsweep
The `docs` folder has the step by step guide that teaches zig while building this game.
